About DHS Hangars
DHS Hangars was formed by a couple local pilots who were interested in getting involved in a business that was connected with their two most loved passions – building and flying. Bill Duffy has built and flown 3 homebuilt airplanes and is also involved in home construction/remodeling. Scott Hersha has built and flown 2 homebuilt airplanes and has been involved in aviation professionally for more than 30 years. These two men are involved in construction of private T-hangars at Butler County Regional Airport as private investors, managers, and hands on workers where needed. The first T-hangar building is complete and there are still a limited number of units available for sale. Future hangar rows will be constructed on the site as needed. The hangars are located at the western end of the hangar row that is south of the east-west runway at HAO.
What We Offer...
DHS Hangars. LLC is an Ohio corporation that will ultimately be owned by all hangar unit owners based on percentage of property ownership. Hangar units are being sold at this time. Models offered have 42 foot and 48 foot electric bi-fold doors. End units with additional square footage are available also. The DHS Hangars, LLC Association will exist to manage the affairs of the association and will consist of unit owners. Owners will be responsible to pay their portion of the land lease and property taxes to Butler County. The lease will be in force ultimately for 60 years.
